Liger Zero Update 3

Ok I was going to submit this a few hours ago and got caught up with something..


alright the boosters are almost done!! Just need a bit of trimming, glueing and painting. yay!!!


To explain the photos:
1. Front obviously. The boosters are closed.
2. Open boosters. my L0 model's boosters are on the top.
3. back view you can see the actual booster is in there. I finished those off today.

5. LOL - No really, I was referring to the saws. Scissors are useless against 5 layer thick cardboard [and as a result ive hurt my wrist] and my dad has misplaced the razor blade I used to use. that did the job great. So I had to find an alternative. a haxor [spelling?] blade my dad had did the job good but its handle wouldn't go through the cut cardboard so after dismanteling it omg it was awesome.

But it wasn't enough for cutting pieces of a printer box. so i improvised. I got out the much larger saw [orange handle] and used that.
The cardboard was cut within 5 seconds. my god even if you have super-powered cardboard IM TELLING YOU TO USE A SAW!!! THEY ARE THE BEST

After using the saw the first time, I began thinking...
"omg.... .... I wonder what a chainsaw would do "

lol

6. that's my hotglue. Set 2. as it says, that entire packet thats empty was used on the boosters alone. THATS A LOT OF HOTGLUE!!! and a bucket load of money D:
want to know how many packets went towards the head?





none.
i used sticky tape. which was a big mistake.

i've only got that much hotglue left and heaps of armour to get done still.
and those are the cheap ones. $2 each for 27 pcs. that sounds REALLY cheap but when you add together how many packets you really need, its not.
.... speaking of that my mum still owes me $14... >.>






now onto a real update.

As you can see the boosters are pretty much done. They open and close so ye.
I was thinking of making it so the black "pipe" bit moves back and forth sorta like how Eternal-Justice made theirs but I'm probably just going to glue it in after its painted.

Like I said in my journal entry there will not be any lights.

AND OMG!!! I'm finally starting the shoulders again I'll be doing the shoulders and hip armour the same way so as soon as their all done ill get a picture up.

Im pretty sure I have some white paint - who am I kidding, it looks like my dads a freaking painter [which he's not, he's a website designer and an awesome one at thats - he's been able to do stuff no one else in the world can do. HOW COOL IS THAT?] with the ammount of paint that's in there. On my last count, I believe there were 8 LARGE tubs of wall paint, 7 tubs of some sealent or weather-proof stuff not sure, and like 9 tubs and cans of something else with HEAPS of mini cans of random brown paints.

I think he's like a painter in disguise XDDD

so ye hopefully at least ONE of those house-wall paints is a nice white and smooth. I really don't want to buy 3 cans of white spray paint.

only problem with paint is I don't think there is any black. There is some Chalkboard black paint but its green and goes on bad for anything but a chalkboard [well no duh] so that's my only paint problem. oh wait, and silver for the gun.

next is attaching everything to the shirt and pants.

The Shirt is a long sleeve winter-shirt [as in its a bit thick] and has a HUGE collar. I pulled it up as far as it would go and I couldn't see..... XD

The pants are just your average tight black pants.
the belt is one I got from Salvos or something so yay
err... can't think of anything else.
